Stainless Steel custom made Clamping Drain Rings, Clamping Drain Bars and Clamping Transition Strips for Resilient Flooring Systems

Existing Round Drains using Stainless Steel Drain Rings

At all existing round drains install Clamping Stainless Steel Drain Rings, with a inside diameter that will allow the clean out plate to be removed after completion of the installation; drill and screwed over circular cut edge in the flooring. Follow the installation instructions below.

Square and Rectangle Drains and Floor Sinks using Stainless Steel Drain Bar Enclosures

At all existing square or rectangle drains including floor sinks, install Clamping Stainless Steel Drain Bar Enclosures with a 45 degree angled cut on each end, screws and plastic anchors included. Install according to instructions below.

Stainless Steel Transition Strips

At all doorway thresholds, above the raw edges of the flooring material, especially over the transitional edges of dissimilar materials, Stainless Steel Transition Strips must be specified. At no time there should be any visible raw edges on any Resilient Flooring, as this may cause water to seep under the flooring, which would emulsify the adhesive and separate the flooring from the sub floor.

Installation Instructions

Place the Stainless Steel Transition Strip, Stainless Steel Clamping Rings, Stainless Steel Clamping Drain Bar Enclosures, on top of the Resilient Flooring, mark the location of
the holes to be drilled and using the appropriate type and size of drill bit, taking into consideration the type of sub flooring material make-up, drill the holes approximately 2-3 inches deep. Inject a little polyurethane caulking into the hole then insert the plastic anchor into the hole. Place a bead of polyurethane caulking compound or polyurethane adhesive beneath the flooring material as well under the Stainless Steel Drain Ring or Transition Strip or Drain Bar Enclosures prior to screwing them down over the Resilient Flooring. Use the stainless steel screws and plastic anchors provided with the Custom Cut Stainless Steel Drain Rings or Bars provided for this use.
